For AW19 collection, École de Pensée teams up with French brand Kleman to present three models of shoes carefully made in France. Mounted on anti-slip work soles made of natural rubber, all models are crafted in full grain calf leather at the brand’s main atelier in La Romagne.

With 70 years of experience in shoemaking, the group Cléon, of which Kleman is a member, is a family business now standing as one of the leaders of the French shoe manufacturing industry. The group, who historically developed sturdy shoes for French policemen and firefighters, Air France cabin crew or even SNCF workers, is now exploring the manufacturing of styles that are more oriented towards the fashion market.
